Take a look in the power manager, your PC have to be set for hibernation?
I have the same issue on my Trigkey S5 5800H. I have disabled hibernation to try to fix the issue but it didn't. Whenever the system is idle long enough to go into sleep mode, the system shuts down. In the Windows Event Viewer it indicates that the "Previous system shutdown at x:xx:xx PM on XX/XX/XXXX was unexpected". Another "critical" kernal-power entry states the following "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.".
What could be causing this?
Is it that Trigkey doesn't have proper drivers for Windows 11?
@Corey Christensen did you try full drivers update with https://www.driverscloud.com/ ?
@Nicolas Poupinet I did. I updated drivers for the motherboard, graphics card, etc. but the problem persists. This computer just doesn't like to be put in Sleep mode.
Is there anything else I can try?
Bump
Try to disable hibernate mode.
https://www.ionos.com/digitalguide/server/configuration/windows-11-hibernate-mode/
I did. That didn't work either. The only setting that will work is to turn off sleep mode entirely or set it for an extremly long duration. I also tried reverting to Windows 10 with the same issues. I've tried clean builds of windows 11 several times with driver combinations. I've tried different drivers, including the ones in your support section and the ones you recommended on driverscloud.com.
Nothing seems to work. Any other ideas?
I am sorry, no more idea. 😣
My 5800H started doing this last week, it shuts down whether it's left idle or in the middle of processing a job. Like Corey, I tried changing the Windows 11 settings to prevent it from hibernating but no luck.
Have you checked the power settings in Windows settings?
I just picked up a Trigkey unit and this problem is occuring for me with this CPU. Did anyone find a solution?
Disable hibernate in settings/power options.
@Nicolas Poupinet I will give that a try, although other users above say that doesn't work.
