Hello - I purchased the Ryzen 7 5700U and would like to upgrade RAM from 34GB to 64GB.
The installed RAM is 32GB of DDR4 RAM (2 x 16GB, 3200MHz).
I understand to upgrade requires 2x32 RAM. Does the upgrade need to be DDR4 at 3200MHz also?
Are there any other requirements for compatible RAM?
Are there instructions for opening the case to make the change? A PDF perhaps?
Thank you.
Just asked this same question for a different model, irritating that none of the details on any of this stuff is included - just the same generic sales / marketing info that it's DDR4 3200mhz & no guidelines on voltage, types, compatability, clocking, etc. The so-called 24/7 live support wasn't on chat, so I sent an email about this, but we'll see if that goes anywhere. Seems like this forum is just users & no staff around to help or fix the broken driver links that I can tell.😟
If it can help you, I installed 32GB of RAM on my S5 model.
@Nicolas Poupinet Thanks man, appreciate it.
@Nicolas Poupinet thank you for this😀
