The published spec for the N100 is 16GB but some people have had luck running 48GB SODIMMs on the platform.
Has anyone tried larger SODIMMs in their G5? Does 32 work or 48?
I'm using mine as a virtualisation platform and the 16GB is holding it back at this point.
PS. I can't seem to post directly to the G5 forum so am posting here instead.
Oh I know that the published spec says 16GB. However there are numerous N100 based boards out there that support 48GB+ SODIMMs
Both these claim support for example but I have seen others as well:

It appears that it's quite possible to run more on this processor then - just that the board/bios/firmware needs to allow it. Hopefully someone has tried and can report back.
