My new TrigKey S5 Pro Max came with two HDMI cables but no DisplayPort cable. The instructions for the PC said to only use the supplied display cable. The monitor instructions said to only use their cable, a DisplayPort cable. I used the latter with no problems. Now, a window keeps popping up warning to only use the supplied display cable. What gives? My monitor is a new LG 4k and obviously I want the best video. Most sources say that a DisplayPort connection is better than a HDMI connection. I also want the warning window to disappear. How do I do that? The window floats over everything and the mouse pointer disappears under it and I can't click any of the selections.
