Hi,
I read that the S6 has VESA mount and I'm looking to mount it on my monitor. The issue is I'm not sure if the VESA mount on my monitor is suitable for hooking up the minipc on it. If the VESA mount on the monitor is meant for hooking up onto the wall, does it also work for other compatible devices to hook on it?
Yes, the VESA specification is basically just the dimensions and placement of the four holes on the back of the monitor, and the screws used. VESA mount holes should work just as well for wall mounting, arm mounting, or mounting a PC to the back. I have two Trigkey S6's mounted to the back of two monitors. The one thing I will say is that the S6 may hang in such a way that it blocks the power or input ports on the back of the monitor so you may want to also invest in something like a HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter Plate for Intel NUC which I did for both of mine. This one is marketted for an Intel NUC but it should work just fine for any VESA compatible mini PC.
