Hi,
I know that running a VM in proxmox (or any hypervior) requires the BIOS CPU setting AMD-V enabled.
I'm not sure where to find that setting in the BIOS, I browsed all the menus....
After installing Proxmox, I went into the syslog and I was this:
pve kernel: AMD-Vi: Extended features (0x206d73ef22254ade, 0x0): PPR X2APIC NX GT IA GA PC GA_vAPIC
pve kernel: AMD-Vi: Interrupt remapping enabled
pve kernel: AMD-Vi: X2APIC enabled
pve kernel: AMD-Vi: Virtual APIC enabled
Apperntly the virtualization option is eanbled. But still, I'd like to know where it is in the BIOS menu
@Matteo Mori On my Trigkey S5, it's in the BIOS under Advanced > CPU Configuration > SVM Mode.
I have VMware Workstation and the product doesn't works even if the options are there and enabled.
It mentions that AMD-V/RVI is not present in the platform:
It's an S5 5800H and also I have constant screen artefacts after installing ANY Trigkey supplied AMD graphic drivers.
Really annoying.
Any ideas?
Have you looked for a tutorial on Youtube? Here, for example, a very complete tutorial in French. Good research!
