I have a 5700U with 32Gb.
I removed the windows nvme and put in a new 1Tb nvme. Installed Artix linux (Arch derivative). I can get sound using the headphone jack and that works well.
However, even though I have the pcspkr kernel module loaded and the beep program runs without error I cannot get the machine to beep.
1) Is there an internal speaker?
2) If no internal speaker can I add one (some hardware people suggested that might be possible).
3) If 2) is infeasible is there a realtek driver that will map a beep channel to one of the analog channels. That seems to be what happens in other mini PCs eg my intel NUCs with Realtek ALC283.
EDIT: I wrote a dkms linux module to handle this see alsabeep-dkms or fancybeep-dkms
