I am attempting to save power and sleep my new S5 5560U when it isn't doing anything. I am unable to find any options which result in the Ethernet port maintaining power (and the ability to respond to the WOL magic packet). Can anyone please advise what particular settings are required to achieve this?
I am atttemping this within a clean Linux Mint 21 installation (I just replaced the original SSD ) which is working fine except for the WOL. I can wake it on keyboard press as well as the power button. But I am unable to find anything that seems to keep the NIC lights on. I can confirm that the NIC is reporting that it will wake on "g" (Magic Packet).
