I have multiple Green G3 (G3-E-8256SD0W64PRO-B) used for digital signage. After a recent storm, the displays plugged into the same outlets as these Green G3 are still working fine, but two of the NUCs no longer POST. All they do now is light up the SSD drive light solid and spin the CPU fan on high, and they keep doing that until I pull power. One of the two booted up fine once more, but then froze and reverted to the same behavior after power was reapplied.
This reminds me of corrupt BIOS or BIOS settings, but I've already tried holding the pinhole reset button for 10 seconds while NUC is off, to no avail. Is there a BIOS recovery procedure similar to what Intel has for their NUCs, where one has to copy a .BIO file to a FAT32 USB before applying power? If so, where would I get the .BIO file?
Any suggestions appreciated, thanks!
