  It turns out the problem wasn't the 5800H after all, but the network hub it was plugged into. I had to change the hub for other reasons and once I did the network comes back after sleep every time ...

  As far as I can tell everything is up to date. It's brand new and I've been doing all the updates to the OS and drivers that have been recommended.
