You need a later kernel, I think the Intel AX101 is supported from linux 6.4 or 6.5 onwards. I'm using Debian and Wifi works fine on the G4.
@Jane Doyle Is the 10W for the processor alone? I assume SSD and RAM also needs some power, and maybe you're also measuring some inefficiency of the power supply? For the record, the N100 is rated ...
On the G4 running Debian Linux, it shuts down gracefully when I short-press the power button.
